about

Realities of the world we live in. Make the best of it or try to make it better.

lyrics

We all get the chance to be the weak ones
We all change, no one stays the same
A flash in our eyes and a veil removed shows a degraded future
Some will learn to make more of it
Some will end it sooner
We'll judge the other while flying high with a holy figure
The color, fading from our eyes
New features discovered
A "less is more" approach to life
Then we lose each other
As a band is playing on...

We change in small ways
The bigger picture remains the same
Until we're too old...to start again
We change in small ways
With little potions to keep you sane
Until we're too old...until we're too old for anything

We don't all get the chance to be the strong ones
Facets of birth or unbeatable odds
Too much effort for one compared to the ease found by another
With a lot in life that's predetermined ...by a heartless system
Either way, we all degradeIn a similar pattern

The color, fading from our hair
More wrinkles than yesteryear
Lessons learned, suddenly forgotten
But we'll form a new pattern here
And that band keeps playing on...

When you think about about the next one in line,
or a person on the phone
Will you truly make connections or unconscious objections?
Will you be the band that's playing on?
